Analysis of Stop Me

Stop me,
When the whistle heard blows.
I have wrestled myself far away,
From my own circle of common sense.

Stop me if my ears seem to be closed.
And my nose is stuck up in the air.
Acting if I just don't care.

Too risky is my reach for ecstasy.
Teased to keep me tempted,
In my my head that fills with fantasies.
Stupid I would leave my comfort zone.
And my happiness to have it.
But I want more to claim owned.
Like,
Everyday to live it under Sunshine.
Without a cloud around me that I see.
Like a wishing on a falling star to witness.
With my name blazing behind it.
Knowing it was meant for only me.

Stop me, stop me...
When the whistle heard blows.
Keep in a match that fits,
My abilities meant not to switch...
To ruin my earn happiness.
Stop me quick,
With a whistle loudly blowed.
Return me back to consciousness.

I don't want to be perceived as greedy.
Like others never satisfied.
Wanting more to feast a need to please.
I don't want to be perceived as selfish.
When I have already more,
Than I wished to dream.

Stop me,
When your whistle heard blows.
Stop me being tempted.
And teased beyond reality.
Seeking something not for me.
I know I should stay happy,
But spoiled I've been made.
By so much in life I see,
Thinking if I reached for ecstasy...
Nothing else would I need to be pleased.

'What about love?'

'Love?
That's all I hear people wishing to want.
Love these days is completely over-rated.
People loving this and that.
Their dogs and cats.
Shoes, clothes and impressions made.
Then...
Searching over the internet,
For someone they never met.
In three days they are living together.
Finding themselves,
Hoping to download a picture...
Of someone else fully undressed.
Yet claim to have found their soulmates!
These times I want removed,
Out of my mind.

I use to believe,
You kids today found ecstasy.
And staying drugged up to keep it?
Ain't for me.
I'd rather beat my...'

'What?
Beat your what?'

'You're the pot smoker.
Use your imagination!'
