Analysis of Your Mask Fell Off

Your Mask Fell Off

Your mask fell off
When you said you loved me
And your kiss, affections
Gestures and gifts
Paled into insignificance
When you were absent
A lot and often.

Your nakedness is ugly
A body of lies occupies my eyes
Filling it with grotesque
Images and evidence
All your counterfeit faces
Show you are hollow
A ghost in masquerade.

Your conscience is dead
A walking fraud
Impostor of feelings
A cesspool mouth
Your face wears
Sad mendacity
Never to be trusted.
