Analysis of Today.

Michael Watkins 1965 (San Diego)

Today for me is different
it's not like all the rest,
my head is high, my lungs are full
you can see it in my chest,
the smile I have is genuine
it comes from inner-peace,
it wasn't there the day before
I no longer fear the beast,
my past has kept me hostage
so full of guilt and shame,
while on my knees I asked for help
please release me from this blame,
God answered me without a word
and said that I'm not weak,
A light came on but still no words
" forgiveness is what you seek "-
have faith from this day forward
be confident when you Pray,
let go of all that holds you back
******Starting From Today.
