Analysis of Thunderhead
Charles Fields II 1955 (Fort Bragg, NC)
i feel a steady breeze
Falling rain
Like kisses fly
Streams of
manna from the skies
As sudden darkness
Racing walls
of clouds
Signal
a gathering storm
across empty
space and time
Dropping intermittent
flash bombs
Which suddenly arrive
Exploding in refrain
With thunderous replies
Shattering silence
With just enough distraction
To conceal
The teardrops
Forming
In my eyes
