Analysis of Mastering 10,000 Hearts

Tammie Swinehart 1974 (Mooresville, IN)

In hours countless, diligent I've spent,
Ten thousand moments, each one lent,
To learning you, a boundless quest,
To know your heart, the very best.

With patience woven into time's embrace,
I ventured through your thoughts and grace,
Exploring depths of dreams you've spun,
To comprehend what you've become.

A master's path, I tread with care,
In every memory, I found you there,
Your laughter's echo, tender and sweet,
In the mosaic of moments, complete.

Through stories shared and secrets unveiled,
In every emotion, your essence detailed,
I've walked the corridors of your past,
An odyssey of understanding unsurpassed.

Each line on your palm, a chapter inscribed,
In your eyes, the universe described,
Ten thousand hours, a tapestry spun,
In knowing you deeply, our fates are now one.

Your hopes and fears, like constellations above,
I've charted them well, with endless love,
A masterpiece of time and devotion,
Ten thousand hours, a heartfelt emotion.

Now as a master of your being, I stand,
Gently holding your soul in my hand,
For in the art of knowing, we've become intertwined,
Ten thousand hours, in your essence enshrined.

Tammie Swinehart

Not much to say. I live in a small town in Indianapolis and work full-time as a manager for an insurance company. I have written poems going back to grade school. They were all horrible, but fun and passed the time. I have journals of poems that go back 40 years. So now that I have more free time, I dig them out, clean them up while preserving the original thought and meaning behind them. more…
