Analysis of Too Old For This

Gary Orchard 1956 (Southampton)

TOO OLD FOR THIS

Through winter's cloak of ice and snow
We shared a summers kiss
My now and forever love
I’m getting too old for this

When all of our dreams collide
With the sound of a bell
You tell me you love me so
And lost secrets you tell

But fear tempers happiness
And last chances we miss
My now and forever love
I’m getting too old for this

I thought you were lost to time
And would never return
With all of our passion spent
In the fire we burn

But when I look in your eyes
I see much more than this
My now and forever love
I’m never too old for this
