Analysis of Kind of, Sort of
My mind has blocked the cause of tears
Related to my childhood years;
The dad I hardly knew.
He saw me kind of, sort of and
His interaction seldom planned
In all the years I grew.
I do not know just what he thought
When he saw me, but seldom sought
Some quality of time.
My years with him are mostly blurred
With mem'ries that are not preferred
And nothing was sublime!
