Analysis of Each Night

I slowly work my way to bed,
To end the day just right.
When I go fast, some thoughts won't last
Till I can pray each night.

I like to thank the Lord for all
The blessings now behind,
Inside the day that goes away
But won't soon leave my mind.

My prayers will include each sin
That I know all about.
And as I'm praying, thoughts are saying
"Forgive my sins and doubt!"
