Analysis of Dreams I'll Never See
Seems every single morning now,
I wake up with the blues.
I don't know why and don't know how
I still put on my shoes.
My tears flow like a raging stream
to oceans I can't see.
The future's all a foggy dream.
The present's killing me.
I'm looking out, the sky is gray
though other folks see blue.
I must survive another day.
I'll try to muddle through.
My mirror shows the face of shame,
this shell I came to be.
The gods and fates put out the flame
of dreams I'll never see.
