Analysis of TO FIND
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
To find your way on a path of your own first, you must say less and do more, open and shut as many doors as you need until you find what you are searching for. I lost so many things and people along this journey, but the person I missed the most was myself.
My voice has become so damn loud that it is now turning their heads, having them hang themselves with every word they have said. Being assertive is my only option after all the years of being unable to speak.
To find myself again with my back against the wall, I am using my knowledge and wisdom to come out standing tall. I was the broken man without a natural place to call home until I decided to take a deep breath and walk alone, for there would never be those who would understand because your fight does not make you rebel, nor is your speech a battle hymn.
