Analysis of I AM

I am a paradox,
an absolute contradiction.
Peace man!
Or... whoever you are?
Relax - and share my star.
I am woman:
a warrior through and through,
I won't bite,
I only fight for Cause,
called you, and you and you.
I do not harm.
Heaven knows what I'll do tomorrow!
I'm here now,
then gone with the wind.
I belong to all lands,
for I was born in the Sun.
I carry my thoughts with care,
I am not me, but we.
For all... I sing!
Our song is to know the heart,
don't need no Shaman's bones to speak, I have a mind
which feels your wound: for it is mine.
I am time, to be a while to care:
I am not cost.
...my leaves grow on the vine of truth,
I give you one
to eat
and feed the hunger of your soul.
I am strength.
Go now!
For I must weep
to leave you free...
where I must carry on,
as paradox.
