Analysis of descent
in the rustling of leaves
with the advance of spring
in the faintest of whispers,
I still hear your name.
so I paint my pain in all shades of grey
in embers rises the hues of your eyes,
and your gaze would set my soul ablaze
now the sky bleeds the colour of our love-
your love was warm like the setting sun
your soul is etched in my blood
and chrysanthemums bloom
in each crevice of my body,
the ones you once loved, so tenderly
your lingering kisses still sheathe around my throat,
and my skin aches in your remembering.
I'd plumet my way through galaxies of grief,
destroy every abyss
to seek salvation in you
for your demise still follows my descent.
