Analysis of A beautiful soul taken to soon
Erica Aguilar 1983 (Sacramento)
Not too long ago,
I lost my dearest mom To our most heavenly high, our Father in the sky
Where he will forever hold her tight,
above the beautiful blue skylight
Like a waterfall pouring down on us all,
and at dusk May she shine bright like the stars in the night
I still don’t understand why it’s you that had to fall Even though you're not suffering at all,
you're better off protecting us all
Left with only memories of your laugh and smile
I wasn’t nearly done
I wish you could have stayed just a little while
