Oh election parties, what a grand display,
A thirty-day spectacle of mirth and glee.
A time of memories, campaign days and night,
When politicians roam the land so free.

With every promise made, with every vow,
They seek to win our hearts and capture our votes.
They flatter us, they charm us, they endow,
With gifts and speeches that would move us most.

But once the election is won and done,
Our politicians suffer from amnesia,
Their memories fade, their names and faces gone,
And we are left to suffer the after-schemia.

Now all they seek is Kot dur Kandhi's grasp,
To earn their fortune and secure their future fast.
They deceive us, manipulate and clasp,
With no regard for our well-being and our past.

Oh politicians, from literature's pages,
Your kind have been warned in many sages.

Just like Macbeth, who sought power and wealth,
And like Iago, who was full of guile.
You use your words, like Shakespeare's cunning stealth,
To sway the masses and to wear a smile.

You mimic Marlowe's Faust, who sold his soul,
For power, fame, and fortune all in one.
You use your wit, like Wilde's Dorian, to cajole,
And lead the people, like Orwell's Big Brother run.

You are like Milton's Satan, full of pride,
With a desire for power that knows no bounds.
You seek to rule, like Orwell's Animal Farm, with all your might,
And leave the people in a world of sounds.

Oh politicians, do not forget,
That your actions will be judged and met.

For when the day of reckoning arrives,
And the truth behind your lies is unveiled,
The people will rise, with their spirits revived,
And demand the justice that has been impailed.

Your fate will be like Julius Caesar's fall,
Or like Richard III's defeat on the battlefield.
Your power, your wealth, your glory and all,
Will be lost to history, and your name concealed.

So heed these words, and make amends,
For the sake of the people, and for your soul's defense.
Remember your promises, and keep your word's bends,
And strive to make the world a better place, immense.

For if you do not, you will suffer the same fate,
As all the politicians who forgot their promises, and were too late.

So heed this advice, and take heed,
For the future of the people, and the land.
Do not be blinded by your greed,
And strive to make a difference, and take a stand.

Remember that you are not just rulers,
But also servants of the people, too.
It is your duty, to make the world better,
And to uphold the values that are true.

So choose your path wisely, and with care,
And do not let the temptations of power lure.
Remember that the people are always there,
And that their voice will always be the final score.
