Analysis of Nature's Beauty

Jaelynn Hirrill 2010 (Albuquerque New Mexico)

Every night, and every day,
I hear the crickets chirp away.
I hear the birds' soft, sweet call,
Precisely why I am not desperate for Fall.
I think of nature's beauty and wonder,
I think back to every storm's thunder.
I think back to the days of spring,
The days that I heard all the birds sing.
Now summer is over,
And here comes the Fall,
I know the leaves aren’t alive at all.
The colors are beautiful,
And joy is yet to come,
Children play in the snow,
But I am grateful for the sun.
I appreciate nature and the wonders it brings,
But I just can't wait for next year's Spring!

About this poem

As I was born on Earth Day, I love all the beauty you see around you in every way that nature changes things every season. My favorite season is Spring because of how all of nature seems to "Spring" to life.

Jaelynn Hirrill

My name is Jaelynn but my family still calls me my childhood nickname, JP. I was 10 years old and had to write a poem for my 5th grade Honors English class. I am very antipodal and, as I was born on Earth Day in 2010, I love all of Nature and the beauty you can see all around you. I also love astrology and Space, including everything in-between. more…
