Analysis of Still burns

I lit up when I knew you were there
I swear,I could see the sun shining
Together we could Care and share;
Thought together we will be winning
Then, I heard the news, I didn't hear it clear, but my heart did, it shattered,
I could hear the loud silence in which it
Broke and bled, scattered.
I looked at you, to see you nod in disagreement, but to my painful grief
You didn't, I saw you smiling within;
Realising that you intended the pain, I stared in sheer disbelief.
You left a burning mark in my heart,
Yet my soul earns for the fake love
You fed me, so that I'm blind to your
Perfidy, I often fall into a deep pit of misery, drowning in agony, yet for help
I was still calling out your name.
I still wonder what made you do this
Some say narcissm, cynicism
But I know it was my flaw of loving the ones who hurt me, as that is the only notion of love I have known,
I believe in the beauty of the thorn just how I believe in the rose.
Seasons may change,
night will turn into day
Leaves may turn green to orange
But the scars of betrayal may
Never fade away
I don't know if I'll forgive but, I'm sure I won't forget.
Last night when I heard you knock on my door at midnight, I heard a whisper within;
the voices were coming from my heart whimpering in pain, it cried to me saying
It still burns, it still burns.
