Analysis of Take That Leap
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
We've got to...
Take that leap.
We've got to...
Take that leap.
We've got to...
Take that leap.
To begin to end division.
And conficting racial decisions,
Based upon the color of skin.
We've got to...
Wake up and see,
All of us were born as human beings.
And blessed to live,
As God created to intend it.
No one race can defend to pretend,
To be picked and chosen.
The favorite choice of God.
Above all others from the very start.
We've got to...
Open those eyes much wider.
We've got to...
See the difference what God has made,
To create.
We've got to...
Know no one's immortal to rule.
We've got to...
Before,
Destroying what was meant to do.
We must...
Take that leap and defeat all that is evil
We must...
Take that leap,
Whipping wicked aspirations to be had.
We must...
Begin to end division.
To know no one,
Is born better blessed...
With life to them given.
We must...
Wake up.
Before evil wickedness ends what is.
As life,
To know what it was...
Taken for granted.
And as life to claim to know,
The power of God!
God is not on the Left.
God is not on the Right.
God is not a politician.
Day and night.
Hoping to create division.
To end what is now in sight.
God is not on the Left.
Neither is God on the Right.
Hoping to create division.
To end what is now in sight.
