Analysis of A Picture To Frame
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
The truth for what it is,
To observe and witness...
The reality of it.
Does not change.
Although,
Its framing of it...
May give that same truth,
A different and more...
Acceptable appearance.
What appalls and heard to claim disgusting.
When revealing a truth,
Without the glitter and luster...
Of a glossing polished frame.
Exposing a lust and the decadence of it.
And those self righteous,
Hiding behind their pretentiousness.
It takes just one...
Sitting on a throne to strip away,
That which has been known and shown...
Displayed for many decades.
But...
Today,
Even priests and nuns...
Have been publicly scolded by the Pope.
About better ways there are,
To use their cellphones.
Than downloading displays...
Of pornographic lust.
Hidden under habits and robes.
Attempting to disguise their sexual desires!
And the truth for what it is to be.
Since the needs of human beings,
As well as all living things.
Is a creation that God has made.
Regardless how it is framed to delude,
A fiction perfected emaculation.
To have not a statue carved in marble...
Anywhere depicting,
Angels fully clothed in social settings.
Although...
With wings attached and halos adorned.
But...
A nakedness to address undressed,
Only appalls to offend...
The many defending their pretentiousness!
