Analysis of Pretty Chippy
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
A chipmunk on the trail
Where I had seen no life before
A fury little creature
Was provided by the LORD
As I approached she didn’t move
She wanted just to stay
I hope that I don’t scare her now
And make her run away
A beautiful little creature
Bringing yet another lesson
I love the way you teach me LORD
You never keep me guessing
