Analysis of In My Darkess Hour

In the shadows of the darkness
Lies a venomous force
Preying upon the vessel on the course.
One whom see's their faults in life
Seeks to destruct the path with a knife.
The darkness within simmers to a point
Where no other has gone in his footsteps.
Those whom ye thought were your allies
Turn their cheeks and look the other way.
Yet in the darkness hour
All is revealed as friends turns sour.
In the midst of the darkness in thy heart
Resentment sets in, echoing thoughts.
Bittersweet victory as one prevails
The self is going through the flame
To come out reborn anew,
As the Phoenix Rises, a new life begins.
The darkest hour of thy self seeps
Through the trickled pain and hurt.
One must rise to overcome.
Boundaries are destroyed.
The energy one feels is too much to handle
Exploding to those whom care
Your energy bears witness to the destructive force within.  The enemy sets in your emotions, thoughts, fears, memories to twist them as they please
In My Darkess Hour, I saw who cared.
