Analysis of Wish You Adieu

The crowd is passing by,
In this time full of rush & heat,
I see you walking away,
Why does it seem like we'll never meet.

We used to be the bestest budds,
Why do you feel like a stranger now,
I can't reach you and it sucks,
We are so close yet so far somehow.

We went through thick and thin,
And of course, wasted time too,
We were the bestest kin,
It seems surreal, but once it was true.

Now Its like the memories weren't there,
And our moments together were a lie,
And to look back, If I dare,
We were happy, I can't deny.

It feels like just yesterday,
When we vowed to be together forever,
Now I am walking on my way,
Like I didn't meet you ever.

I know we left so much catch up to,
We might make up if I endeavor,
But my mate, I wish you adieu,
Coz nothing exists forever.

About this poem

Forever doesn't always means forever. Sometimes the strongest bonds become useless contacts in our mobiles and sometimes the happiest moments become forgotten memories. Just like the time. Everything changes and nothing remains same.
