Analysis of Graveyard People

I have a friend named Jay
He's up all night and sleep all day
Weeping for the love he wished to stay
She must be the one that got away

There's this girl named Ann
Spend her nights joining some dating clan
Hoping that she may find acceptance
Falling into another woman

I'd like to mention my friend Mick
That pretends to sleep but she sneaks
To check his husband's neck and cheek
If there's any mark of lipstick

And the writer loves to hear these stories
While working at night to make some money
She's not good in expressing empathy
So, she wrote them all in poetry
