Analysis of Oh 1975!

Oh 1975
Thou hast flowed by.
We bade thy farewell
With crackers to delight!

Cakes to soften
Bananas green and ripe
Arabian dates
With Coffee, homemade we take

Hi 1976
What hast thou, in store.
Happiness, Success or Sorrow and Failure?
Oh please thou be good for us New Year
Welcomed thou with Kiribath
What hast thou brought us!

NB: Remember penning these lines in the quiet of our home closer to midnight, aware that some of my friends were enjoying heralding the New Year in much joyous surroundings!
