Analysis of Restlessness
Mehmooda Gannie 2022 (Johannesburg)
I am like a restless ghost walking through the cemetery
Wailing my sorrows as a song to awaken the dead
My regrets escaping my pale lips like an unanswered prayer
I know it is too late
But someone help me find closure
Help me find the light
Ease my restlessness
For my body aches
Searching for the light
