Analysis of IF NOT YOU
IF NOT YOU
If not you
I would have gone astray
Beyond the mesh of unforgettable
Thrilling in the darkness called light
If not you
Perchance , myriad of impossibilities
Could have engulfed me beneath like a flood
Leaving me hopelessly without succour
If not you
Having been and seen
The tranquil of the sun in the moon
Abridging the gaps of the night for the day yet calm
If not you
Who was and is and ever shall be
The teacher and master of principles and relevance
Which nature makes obeisance
If not you
The grave like a hungry lion
Could have swallowed me up in ignorance
Unequivocally assumed by hardhearted happenstances.

About this poem
There was a time I nearly gave up due to some many challenges beyond my control. I felt lost and forgotten and kept lonely and remained mute not knowing the God is not yet done with me. At the appointed time, he saw me through and here I'm a happy man.
