Analysis of Acid attack

She was vulnerable at that moment,
when a man, more than double her age approached.

He proposed to her, on her way back home.
She was frightened to see  him, she was all alone.

On and on, he stalked her on road,
and spoke in a language she could not decode .

One fine day, while  crossing the street.
There was a splash on her face, she sat on her knees .

All she felt was, a hot burning sensation,
and suffered agonising pain with suffocation.

Her skin could be seen, swell and shrivel into tight clump.
Of intense flaming, she rounded herself like a crump.

The corrosive substance thrown, was the result of her denial.
She had lost her identity,was not in the state of revival.

The kind of torture, the form of violent assault,
caused distress,torment, brought her life to halt.

Somehow, after a long gap, she revived.
But the scars on her face could never be wiped.

Andacious was the victim, courageous was she.
Could not afford to set the culprit free.

She did not quit, her vision was never faint.
Until and unless she dragged him to imprisonment.

"Aah",  there was a  huge sigh of relief, her life was back on track.
She was  a survivor of perilous " ACID ATTACK".
