Analysis of Raised Eyebrow

I remember the days,
When all it took was a raised eyebrow.
To someone's comment made.
Without it heard to hear it necessarily spoken,
Where in one's head...
Gave approval to the mouth,
With an allowing to come out of it...
Even one's own pet dog,
Looks at me as if to say...
'I wish right now,
I could borrow your raised eyebrow..
I heard it too!
And, I agree, that was some dumb stuff.'

I mean,
How dumb can dumb stuff get.
To go ignored.
When one with a raised eyebrow sits,
With head tilted in disbelief.
A dog looking embarrassed.
And others listening to hear this,
Doing the best they can not to laugh out loud.

And...
One who is saying,
Some of the dumbest stuff possible.
Continues on as if delivering,
A scholarly thesis using words...
No one has ever heard before.
And combined with those misspoken.
Out of context, verb and grammar usage.
To then stop suddenly to ask,
If anyone has any questions.

'Um...
I do.
When we all were together talking.
And doing it back and forth.
Demonstration how effective communication,
Can do to promote understanding?
What was it did you think we were doing,
When you mentioned if corn and rice...
Could be grown on the planet Mars?!'

'Just curious if anyone had an opinion about it.
Since the subject was health and nutrition.
And which vegetables to eat to increase,
One's stamina and energy.
Well?
No thoughts?'

'Your dog?
Is at your door.
And either has to go to the bathroom,
Very very bad.
Or find a place to hide.
I'm going to let him out,
Before he thinks...
He has a reason to attack you.'

'ATTACK ME?
Where on Earth gave you that idea?'

'I'm just sayin'.
Your dog is extremely smart.
Okay?
Coming, Buddy.
We both need to be relieved.'

'Why are the rest of you,
Staring at me in disbelief?
Don't blame me for thinking out of the box.
I bet none of you came close,
To thinking about marketing energy bars...
On Mars.
Being proactive is the key to success.
Oh?
Now you decide it's time for you to go.
Too much of a rush my ideas are.
I understand.
But I do think it a bit petty,
To take the wine you brought for all of us!
Jealousy. Envy. Gets no one anywhere,
To communicate that as being success.
Think about it.'
