Analysis of Blue And Bluesy You Left Me

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

I have fallin'.
For you.
And it left me down.
Oh yes I've fallin'.
For you.
And this left me down.
Blue and bluesy there to be.
Found.
Moanin' to be on my knees.

I had been up until you came around.
Having me feel guilty 'cuz I felt too good,
For so long.
And I began to feel that was wrong.
To feel it felt that good to belong.
Now down and found I am on knees.
Blue and bluesy you left me.

I had been up until you came around.
Claiming to blame others for your pity.
Selling that to me to squeeze my empathy.
To leave your negativity making me feel guilty.
And...
Bluesy now I'm found to be.
Down.
Blue and bluesy you left me.
Found.
Making you more happy and pleased.

I had been up until you came around.
Having me feel guilty 'cuz I felt so good.
For too long.
You had me believe that was wrong.
And now my happiness and you are both,
Gone!
