Analysis of Stars
I'm staring at the face of the night sky
Wispy dark clouds scatter the heights
Tiny little stars blink high above the distance
Thinking of you, missing you a lot tonight
Sitting alone on the beach feeling cold
The wind hums and breathes sad lullaby
The scent of the ocean fills my chest
It brings all of our memories together,I sigh
The moon seems to bob on the horizon
As the sound of waves mute the tension
Although, my soul seem so sick and broken
I remain strong behind tears that blur my vision
The night grows old as my body stiffens
As I embrace my thin soul, so torn and worn
My mind is flying somewhere dark and distant
And the stars dimmed and like me, they too, mourn
