Analysis of Self-titled
My heart is yearning,
Aching, beating, but barely,
Unrequited love
Feels like I’m not here,
Each day a facsimile,
Passively present
Hoping for a change,
I am the grand optimist,
Cursed with inaction
Search for an excuse,
The root of my cowardice,
Lies within a truth
I fear the unknown,
What was and will ever be,
But a memory
