Analysis of First Day of School
Amy M Grooms 1992 (Missouri)
Take a picture so you'll have this memory saved
This moment when she had to be so brave
It's her first day here and she's a little shy
She doesn't even realize, you're trying not to cry
Walk her to her class and then somehow walk away
Nothing prepares you for these moments, these difficult days
It means she's growing up and the future is coming fast
Today is her first day but before we know it, it'll be her last
