Analysis of My Life

My life has been so empty, no love in sight
After all these years it's time to make things right
I'm deserving of love, just like any other being
I've searched high and low and still am unseeing
Where is he, the one searching for me?
Has he already passed and I failed to see?
Deep inside is more passion than anyone could know
Waiting to be shared and needing to show
Each year that goes by with no love to share
Leaves my heart feeling very cold and bare
In time my soul will wither and die
With no love shared all I do is ask why?
Why has no man returned my call?
I need love and affection and that's not all
Holding and hugging and kissing indeed
Are just some of the things I'm in need
I need a love that will nurture and grow
I want a love he is proud to show
Alas, it's time to say farewell
To this way of life that's been like hell
