Analysis of Far Behind
Truthfully though,
I know I need
To accept
How things are
And move on,
But I’m actually
Actively dying inside
Since I can’t find
A remedy for this pain.
I’ve begged
And I’ve hoped
But nothing
Seems to work.
For now I’m just
Stuck here in the mud
Of my past
While everyone else
Is skipping cheerfully
Ahead and
Into the future.

About this poem
I feel like I can't catch up to where everyone else is. I'm still stuck here and it hurts.
