Analysis of Don't fall in love, my Love

My love, my dear
Who I can't hold near
The passing of seasons burn my love
A heart I can't touch but hand I long to get a hold of

I wither at the thought of your coming Spring
Just stay in the cold and find warmth in our link
Stay in the fall and stop at winter
Don't go to the seasons we can't be together

I cry with pleas
I beg on knees
To please freeze this world eternally
So it'll just be you and me

About this poem

This is for someone I love who I can never tell how I feel about them. I hope they are delayed even for just a little bit in finding their love or their partner because I know how hurt I'll be. I wish it'd stay this way that even though she's not mine, at least I'm in her life. You know? This is just a selfish way to express myself. I'm selfish.....
