Analysis of delusion

Emilia Acabeo 1949 (Puerto Rico)

We sit in front of the t.v.
me and him
he sits on his side
i sit on mine
blindly,
shadowy,
slowly,
he draws me closer, nearer
tight
phantomless hands brush against my
hair,
ear,
neck,
sliding
   down my arm
around my shoulder
crushing me to him
delusive eyes
envelope me
turn me inside out
sucking life,
emotion,
heat,
away from my body
leaving me
vacant,
an empty container.
