Analysis of Quicksand

Sinking
So close
Reaching for a hand
No one is there
Climbing
Think I found it
Happiness, but wait
Heaviness
Holds me down
Sinking
Try again for the top
Sliding down to the emptiness
Stuck
Like quicksand
