Analysis of Back to the Flames
Tonight I dine with all my demons
So effortlessly they have rendered these wicked doors
I am a man and that is my weakness
Certainly they stare back, as if to persuade me more.
Hands tendered, smiles of adept
My heart is changed, my soul is kept
I am here seeking shelter from my demons
As they laugh for being ousted for such a stupid reason
Smiles turned to frown, as they have learned
Of a changed heart that murdered them; never to return.
Actions kill the urge of daydreams and provide the body with its next fix.
