Analysis of Imprisoned
Samantha K Ballew 1991 (North Carolina)
My thoughts stutter
Words tripping over
Each other to go
Absolutely nowhere.
My mind violently
Screams as i
Smile at the
Faceless creatures
That surrounds me.
My skin feels tight
As everything bubbles
Up ready to explode.
Yet I am wrapped
In titanium.
I hold the key
To my prison
But I am too afraid of
Freedom.
