Analysis of Joy of the Season

Oh what joy at Yuletide
to find the flock is full again!
The Shepherd fulfilled the promise
without regard to what has been.

Is this not the miracle
proclaimed so clearly on that night,
that even the least among us
can walk into the light.

I know, for I have witnessed,
the gathering of the sheep
as The Shepherd moves among us
though the flock is fast asleep.
