Analysis of D.A.W.
Ralph Wilkins 1950 (Washington, DC)
With memories that bring tears to my heart.
With memories that bring pain to my soul.
I try to find my way out of the darkness of sorrow.
Deborah's memory floods my ears with soundless thought.
I don't remember having said i love you _ ever.
My pain remembers the pain I bought.
Me your big brother a stuttering fool.
Me your older brother, the ignorant tool.
I am sorry for the one thing thing I did say.
I am so sorry for what I did not say.
Guilt drives my thoughts and actions everyday.
I pray my prayers and words reach you whwer you stay.
I love you sis.
Your smile is only one of the things I miss.
Seventh to be born.
Second to depart.
Taking with you.
A piece of my heart.
