Analysis of Broken Wire
Only one wire still connects with your side.
I’m hanging on, for this line can tell me
why I still am, what I might still provide.
You, I value and always like to see.
But there’s silence, tormenting me fairly,
inquiring me about how I have failed.
And of your hush the broken wire entailed
not a single tone, no sound that I could hear,
the distance had a barrier trailed,
trust went missing with the chill in my ear.
