Analysis of Remembrance!!!

Today, we remember our fallen heroes.
Those who went out to shun our foes,
Whose lives were ended, and were let go,
And now, their survivors' demands are still getting nos,
Cos their request for freedom got no polls,
And the people have to be on their toes,
For no care is given to their souls.

Now they're saying we can't go out,
That for our plights we can't fight.
Whereas we are asking that they give us light,
But never do they want us to show our rights.

My country is really beginning to decline,
And none of the leaders concerned,
Cos they all fine.
Like, everything has become a mess,
That it's even difficult to be conveyed by the press.

The masses shedding tears,
People living in fear,
No longer can anyone bear,
And not even one of the bosses is ready for anyone to cheer.

How does it make sense that food prices go up,
And nothing is being done at the top.
Nothing wey man see to chop,
Fresh guys are being disturbed by cops.
Small money we get to use sub,
But even Twitter, govt don block.

We are just tired of sitting and looking
At the chiefs cheating and looting,
And nobody is ready for fishing
Out all of those that have our resources taken.
Small thing, Dem say the guys are picking,
Claiming we are nothing but chickens.

I don't know what is happening now,
Don't know if we should just leave town,
And look for somewhere that's more calm,
Where we ain't led to slaughter like Rams.

And what I'm wondering is, what will we tell our kids?
That we tried our best, but couldn't get no peace?
That hunger killed more people, than did disease.

What we asked, was that they #endsars
But what they did was leave us with scars.

We will never forget the past,
And they sure will meet all our demands!!!
