Analysis of Cohen Is Going
His sound’s no longer what it used to be
colors vanished, drowned in misery,
his tone’s now mat, just like the wetted grass,
on which the wind won’t spread its whispering
but drudgery, is tending to defeat.
The thud with which he thrusts his words
magnifies life’s suffering with swords,
muted the light that shines in his eyes
He pushes the day completely off balance
so he’ll soon disappear with darkness
