Analysis of Uncertain
Uncertain 1945 (Ruston, Louisiana)
There was a light that grew so bright
and lightly touched my face.
It opened up another path
that led me from this place.
Into the forest, thick and dark,
I ran at a furious pace,
and never stopped to consider the source,
that drove me to this place.
I looked around, but nary a sound,
not even a familiar face.
For the solid ground from which I bound,
left me in a curious state.
