Analysis of Awokeness
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Awakening each day,
Clear of eyes and mind to view...
Beyond manufactured beliefs.
To see much more,
Than any lessons taught to teach.
Can not limit imaginations to know,
This 'awokeness' shows...
Those who are conscious yet still refuse,
Remaining restricted is self abuse.
With all that there is,
Blessed to live and experience it.
Some still stay disbelieving,
The Earth rotates around the Sun.
With billions of others to do this done.
Although perceive,
They have power to control over...
Who does what how and when.
But can not prevent...
Whatever it is that has created,
Them from convincing the ones awake...
The time they have taken to waste.
And fake impressions to make,
Imitating themselves to be 'gods'.
But of what when they have created,
A mess man-made to say and claim...
Blame to place on others.
Having nothing to do to prove...
And then to announce,
In adorned costumes dressed to threaten.
Of being superior over a mess made.
To assume,
Others..
Long to be awakened and 'woke',
Are jealous and envious.
With wishes to demand credit for it!
Who and what,
Is responsible for minds like these...
To stay asleep,
Through this ever evolving process.
'Have the smelling salts arrived yet?'
'Yes!
They have been here for quite awhile.
We have even recruited to volunteer,
Qualified 'Slap Troopers'!'
'Yes.
To slap them awake.
But unexplainable as it is,
Those not yet awoke...
Are loving it!'
'What?
Loving it?'
'It appears to me they believe this to be,
Some kind of new ritual.
Intended to release masochistic pleasure!
