Analysis of Another Day
Teresa Whitney 1951 (Tacoma)
Here it is another day,
Another day has begun,
The sun is shining oh so bright,
All I want to do is run,
I want to run into your arms,
And sing to you a love song,
Knowing all along my dear,
Exactly where I belong,
What a way to start my day,
To be held within your arms,
If only I could do so now,
I would be right where you are,
I may not be able to now,
That is what they say,
But I can dream this beautiful dream,
On each, and every day,
No need to cry over spilled milk,
So I have heard people say,
In turn I shall carry on,
On this special day,
Here it is another day,
I want to run into your arms,
What a way to start my day,
If only to be where you are.
