Analysis of Dear God Almighty
As I sit, and listen to the waves,
Calling me back home,
I pray dear God,
Never do I wish to be alone,
As I sit here awaiting thee,
Wondering about tomorrow,
I am hoping one day to see,
A true heart I may borrow,
If only your love would carry me,
To a place where I feel safe,
Opposed to where I am right now,
If only to see your face,
As I sit, and listen to the waves,
Wondering where you are,
I pray dear Lord, God almighty,
Be my shining star.
