Analysis of If You Listen
If you listen carefully,
You can hear my heart,
Even though my darling,
We are miles apart,
Lonely I am without you,
Saddened days have I,
If only to touch you again,
As I deeply sigh,
I need you here beside me,
And I want you ever so,
Alway's, and forever,
This, please truly know,
If you listen carefully,
You can hear me calling you,
Through the gentle breeze,
Our love forever new.
