Analysis of Starry Days Sunny Nights

Kaushik Ghosh 1979 (Calcutta)

There are days when I would chase the Sun
And are days when it is after me,
Star light leads me back to home some nights,
Some nights I'm lost in a blind alley.

Chilly wind keeps whistling to my ears,
Old tales that I've forgotten for long,
The night birds sing as I drive past by -
An uncanny unfathomable song.

The swishing leaves asks me to speed up
And the old moon reminds me my home,
Home, where I always want to get back
A ghetto, I would rather disown.

There are times the thunder knocks me down
And are moments I remain unmoved
There are seasons I radiate joy,
There are eons when life keeps me grooved.
