A playful snout where a bill was
Ears where graceful wings should be
Fur-like white down feathers
Goosey boy, Bilo, now above
Flying south for the winter
Maybe home when spring returns
Or somewhere in the stars, remaining
Perhaps he’ll come...

Beyond Repair

A vessel wrapped in cheap plastic
Damaged beyond repair
Thoughtful destruction
Life can be fair
Take out the trash
Clear the air
For this is over, all despair
They say it mustn’t happen; it happened anyway
Nothing more important than to go...

The Cure

Lock up the guns
But forget the razors and knifes
Put away the bullets for what, LIFE?
Don’t worry about asphyxiation or lies
PUT HIM AWAY, have him committed
Never mind all the desperate tries
We can save this one yet!
Let me die! No need...
